Norwood Bank is closely monitoring official information and the latest news about the Coronavirus and doing all we can for the health and safety of our employees and visitors. We have tested plans in place for events such as disasters and pandemics and we will continue to provide you access to all your banking needs.
As MA restrictions ease, effective May 30, Drive-Up Banking will be open on Saturdays 9 am to 12 pm.
Drive-Up Banking service is available Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 12 pm.

Each depositor is insured by the FDIC to at least $250,000.  All deposits above the FDIC insurance amount are insured by the Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF). The Share Insurance Fund (SIF) merged with DIF in March 2020).  Since the DIF began insuring deposits in 1934, no depositor has ever lost a penny in a bank insured by both FDIC and DIF.  DIF insurance is available only on deposits in Massachusetts-chartered savings and co-operative banks.
Making large cash withdrawals is discouraged and dangerous.
 Keep in mind that the safest place for your money is in the bank.  It is a mistake to keep large amounts of cash at home where it could be stolen or destroyed by fire or flood.  We will continue to ensure that you will have access to your money either directly or electronically.
Precautionary steps we are taking.
We have taken steps to frequently clean all areas with strong disinfectant and have hand sanitizer and wipes available. Employees are  advised to stay home if sick and we are educating them about best practices on hand washing, social distancing, and what to do in case of exposure. Our employees are here to serve your financial needs.  All departments are fully staffed. Some employees are working from home and others are at the bank for everyone's safety.
